This is BETTY BOOP WHITE. She is 3-years old, very healthy and weighs 16-pounds. She is a beautiful ice-white throwback female Pomeranian.
What is a “Throwback Pomeranian”? A true “Throwback Pomeranian” is a purebred Pom that is genetically more similar to its ancestors (large Spitz-type sled dogs) in size, and sometimes behavior, than the Pomeranian breed that we know today.
Typically, a dog’s traits are passed down primarily from their parents (sire and dam) and it’s not uncommon for some genes to be passed down from up to 5 generations back. But with throwbacks, genes are ‘thrown’ from much further back, from those long-ago ancestors. A full throwback Pomeranian will be a very large Pom that’s at least 14 pounds and sometimes as big as 20 or even 30-something pounds.

The Pomeranian is a breed of dog of the Spitz type that is named for the Pomerania region in north-west Poland and north-east Germany in Central Europe. Classed as a toy dog breed because of its small size, the Pomeranian is descended from the larger Spitz-type dogs, specifically the German Spitz. They, of course like any small breed will have aliments. Google additional research.
They will not leave us until they are 8+ weeks old and totally weaned.
(see “Contact Us | Terms” for purchasing info)
An adult Pomeranian is around 6-7 inches tall and weighs about 3-7 pounds.
They may become less active or sleep more; cloudy eyes, stiff joints, or bad teeth can be some symptoms.
Absolutely, they can bark very often, whether it is boredom, excitement, or an alert.
No, they are not good in the way that they remain alone for long hours. They may get anxious or lonely. While short hours can be sustained, long hours cannot.

Suzanne Bladowski2024-11-25Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Janie is awesome and her dogs are beautiful. Will do business again! S.T.2024-09-20Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Cannot say enough good about Burnett’s Exclusive Poms! I became familiar with them doing a Pom search in 2009. Their photos clearly showed well-cared-for pups & adults in a beautiful home environment. In 2018 I went back to Burnett’s for a new puppy. Our 6-year-old Pom Lucy (b&w parti) rules as queen of our home. This breed is amazing – Lucy is super smart, very interested in her humans, and interacts with us in a way none of our other dogs have done. She is a joy! Burnett’s is a totally responsible breeder – everything is above board! They’ve dedicated the entire lower level of their beautiful home to raising Poms, with well-maintained runs on a lovely piece of property. Janie is a Pom expert, and her love for these dogs is obvious in all of her interactions. Anyone looking for a Pom can feel confident with the foundation provided by Burnett’s Exclusive Poms. Owners can also join Janie’s Pom group on FB for great camaraderie, a sounding voice for questions, and the opportunity to get together with other Pom owners. Lizette Leanza2024-09-18Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We highly recommend Burnette’s pomeranians. Our family has been fortunate enough to adopt 3 of her beautiful babies- all are happy, healthy dogs! Janie’s puppies are highly socialized, playful, well-adapted and loved- this is not the case with all breeders. We truly appreciate that she went the extra mile to ensure that each of their transitions into our lives and home was an easy one. We can not say enough wonderful things about Janie’s puppies and her level of care. Kellie Delbridge2024-09-15Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have purchased 2 pomeranians so far from Burnette’s Pomeranians. Both of my fur babies are amazing and beautiful. This breeder truly loves the breed and takes great care of them and prepares them for their new home. I highly recommend this breeder. Amy Tyler2024-09-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Janie offers the highest quality Poms! She loves and dotes on them until the day you come to pick them up. Best breeder! Van H (VanBan)2024-09-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Absolutely adore their Poms. Searched several years for a seasoned breeder and this certainly met my expectations.
